About Think Tech | |
| What is Think Tech? Think Tech is a way for everyone to talk about their vision for learning in the technological era of C21. | |
| It’s a New Zealand first – a tool we’re calling a D-logue because it is set up to create a public policy discussion in the form of wide-ranging debate where all voices are equally heard and that can be owned by the participants in the debate. | |
| What is it for? ThinkTech involves people across New Zealand in a live debate about the role of technology in schooling in the future. | |
| Anyone can share their ideas and knowledge, upload reports or videos, join meetings, challenge thinking, chat to each other, and network - to have a dialogue. | |
| Our goal is to share New Zealander’s vision for the Place of Technology in schooling by modelling the vision: that while the scope of new technologies defies prediction, they will undoubtedly have an impact on education, on living and on working. | |
| People want to keep up with these changes, talk to each other and think about what they might mean for Aotearoa and how that fits with our values. | |
| Who are we? Secondary Futures - Hoenga Auaha Taiohi is a project set up to encourage discussion and debate about the role and purpose of secondary education in New Zealand twenty years from now - creating a mandate for change. | |
| Through research, discussion and sharing information and ideas, Secondary Futures helps New Zealanders influence education policy and practice from a futures perspective. | |
